Tactical mission trips are small specialized crews covering a lot of ground and serving field teams directly. This content isn’t for development or broad recruitment, it’s for a team in the field that’s reaching a target population.
Our goal is always to start and finish the project in the course of our trip. We’re not bringing work back and watching it sit on hard drives.
As Creative Professionals, we have the capacity to operate at a different level than is sometimes experienced in a church-driven mission trip. We are precise in our approach and are used to working in a collaborative relationship. We’re not hobbyists or people who would “like to learn how it works”. Our goal is defined and our focus is clear.
The crews may be 2 people to 5, each with their specialty role. We are not competing with mission agency teams nor trying to replace the impact of a church-sent team. From our experience, we are working from front line purposes back. If it serves development or raising support, that’s a bonus but not the priority.
Please note, these are not paid, however we often have generous donors who will cover most of the costs associated with travel. That’s another reason why we are intentional and direct with the projects we take on. We’ve got businesses to run when we get back!
